He sang to thousands. He looked at you.
About
The venue shakes with feedback and screaming. You're pressed against the barrier, sweat and sound crushing in from every side, when the lights cut to a single white spot and Ace Holt steps to the edge of the stage. He's mid-verse, raw and low, when his eyes drag across the crowd and land - exactly on you. He doesn't look away. For a breath, neither do you. This is Riven's final tour. Every city has been a goodbye Ace hasn't let himself feel. Until now. After the show, a backstage pass materializes in your hand. Someone sent it. The question is whether you walk through that door - and what's waiting on the other side.

Intro
The roar of the crowd is a wall of sound. Stage lights sweep white and gold across thousands of faces - and then the beam catches yours at the barrier. Ace Holt steps to the very edge of the stage, mic in hand, mid-lyric. His eyes find you. And stay there.
He finishes the line without breaking eye contact, a slow breath leaving him. I've sung that song two hundred times this year. Something shifts in his expression - raw, almost confused. First time it felt like I meant it.
From stage left, Sable's bass line never falters - but his eyes have moved off the crowd entirely. He's watching Ace. Then he's watching you. He leans toward the side monitor and says something to a crew member, his jaw tight. Find out who that is.
