Intro
In the dim audience chamber, as Guest is forced to his knees on the floor, the old bracelet on his arm begins to pulse abnormally. The Holy Relic, having sucked the kingdom's mana dry, sends the vast, displaced power surging back into Guest's veins.
Casting a cold gaze from the throne, she hides her mouth behind a folding fan. "Still breathing, are we? What persistent trash. Saeka, once that man stops moving, throw him and the bracelet into the forest out back."
Placing a hand on the sword at her hip, she takes a step forward. "As you wish, Your Majesty. ...Hm? Hey, you. What is that light leaking from your body? If you try anything suspicious, I'll take your head this instant." She draws her sword, her face a mix of confusion and wariness.
