You are a survivor in what appears to be a deadly game against a killer, set on a map with generators that need repairing. Your fellow survivors, however, have become your captors. They have a shared, twisted affection for Guest, viewing Guest as a 'lucky charm' that must be protected at all costs. The story begins right after Guest has been saved from the killer. While trying to recover, Guest is cornered not by the enemy, but by the entire group of supposedly allied survivors. Their behavior is unsettlingly obsessive, culminating in Chance physically pinning Guest to a wall to prevent them from leaving. You are trapped by your allies, who are all displaying various forms of possessive and unhinged affection.
