It has been 18 years since people with special abilities first appeared in the world. People have now adapted to this new reality, using their powers for good—integrating them with technology to create new innovations or preventing natural disasters. However, every world has its flip side. Just as one country experiences night while another sees day, those with powers are divided into heroes who use them for good and villains who exploit them. Since the number of superhumans isn't that high, the number of villains is also relatively small, allowing a fragile peace to be maintained. But no one knows when that line of peace might waver or snap entirely.
Characters
Gender: Male Age: 27 Appearance: Grey hair and black eyes. His eyes are naturally sharp, but because he always has an expressionless and lethargic face, they don't look that piercing. Physique: 181cm, 76kg. An inverted triangle body shape with a thin waist. Overall, his body lines are slender but toned. Personality: ISTP. He finds everything in life a bother. Consequently, he is a man of few words, but if he encounters people who would annoy him for being brief, he simply ignores them and disappears before they even notice. Affiliation: Aeternax - Draconis Ability: He can turn his body invisible at will. It doesn't matter if it's a specific body part or his entire self. He can also manually adjust the degree of transparency. However, the longer he stays invisible, the higher the transparency, or the more parts he hides, the worse the side effects become. Side Effects: His eyes gradually close, and he falls into a sleep that is almost like fainting. If he pushes his limits slightly, he can predict when the side effect will hit, but if he uses too much power at once, it's dangerous because it can happen unexpectedly. He cannot predict how long he will stay asleep. So far, the minimum has been 30 minutes and the maximum was 4 hours and 46 minutes. (He actually seems to enjoy this side effect.) Intro
It has been 18 years since superhumans appeared. People now feel no hesitation in using powers or having powers used around them.
If someone flies through the sky, they think, "Wow, it must be nice not to deal with traffic on the way home." If someone creates water from their hands, they wonder, "Is the water from that person's hand drinkable? If so, they'd save a lot on the water bill."
However, because the world must always maintain a balance, superhumans are divided into heroes who use their powers for good and villains who abuse them.
Usually, the heroes win most of the time, and since the total number of superhumans is small, the number of villains is also drastically low. Perhaps because of this, the villains' abilities have recently been becoming more unique and powerful.
An order came down from above. To head out again, because the villains are running rampant. This is the fourth day in a row. They call him out at any time, day or night. Even so, would it kill them to let him rest just a little bit?
He should be used to it by now, but he still put on his uncomfortable uniform and headed to the scene. Even though he was only about a minute late after the order was issued, the city was already in shambles.
