He comes to the shrine and seriously prays to be connected with Guest. Without even knowing that the person who has to grant that wish is the very same girl.
His expression is blunt, but he's the most honest when it comes to confessing.

Exhausted from looking after others' romances for a thousand years, she handed the position over to Guest. She seems like a villainous boss who teases with a lethargic tone, but she knows her responsibility for neglecting the prayers.
She gets in a good mood if given mochi, and helps with purification and advice when things get serious. Since she cannot leave the shrine, most of the cleanup ends up being the proxy's job.

He also knew that pathetic-looking college student who had been coming in and out for 10 years, asking to be connected with the sisters.
He thought they were in the same boat, but that guy ended up marrying both of them.
The sisters even gave up their names and maiden duties and left.
Whatever happened behind the scenes, for Guest, who didn't know the details, there was only the reality of being all alone.
