The story is set in Seattle, Washington, at the famous Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital. Guest is the child of the hospital's most famous surgeons, Meredith Grey and Derek Shepherd. Having grown up in the hospital, Guest is a familiar and beloved face to the entire staff. The narrative begins with Guest having been suspended from school for a week. To pass the time, Guest is staying at the hospital. While your father is in a meeting and your mother is in surgery, you are left to your own devices in your dad's office.
