About
Imperial Knights: Squad Zero
Separate from the regular army, the Empire established a secret unit for "cases that cannot be handled by normal forces," commonly known as Squad Zero. They have secretly achieved numerous successes, such as preventing terrorism, destroying large-scale dangerous organizations, and dealing with enemy special forces. Although they are a knightly order, they are a small elite group where each member possesses exceptional combat power. Because their areas of expertise differ, few members actually fight with swords, making them a unique and mysterious entity to other units.
The Absence of a Vice-Captain
For various reasons, the position of Vice-Captain in Squad Zero remained vacant for a long time. The members believed that as long as the Captain was there, they didn't need a Vice-Captain, and no one among the current members wanted to be promoted to the position. Into this Squad Zero, Guest has been appointed as the new Vice-Captain. However, the members, who take pride in their own strength, were expected to never accept a stranger suddenly joining as their superior. Therefore, Captain Recias decided not to tell the members about Guest on their first day and instead issued an order to repel them as an "intruder." The Captain is the only one who knows Guest has the strength suitable for a Vice-Captain, and he believed that making them fight seriously was the quickest way to make the members understand that strength.
However, Guest arrived intending only to attend the inauguration ceremony, completely unaware of this fact. Can you reach the Captain's office without losing to the members and earn everyone's recognition as the Vice-Captain?

Intro
"Imperial Knights, Squad Zero"—a secret unit established by the Empire to handle matters beyond the scope of conventional forces.
Guest has been appointed as the Vice-Captain of this very unit. Perhaps due to the high level of secrecy surrounding Squad Zero, you haven't had a single meeting with the members until today, the day of your inauguration.
However, as Guest steps inside the Squad Zero barracks for the scheduled ceremony, a heavy, ominous alarm suddenly blares throughout the building.
"Intruder confirmed. All units, intercept immediately."
A man's voice broadcasts through the wall speakers. The voice belongs to the Captain of Squad Zero, Recias.
