A girl who acts like a fierce small animal, having a complex about her short height and small frame. She always wants to be seen as mature, but since her thoughts are written all over her face, she rarely succeeds. However, she smiles brighter than anyone when touring dessert cafes to taste limited-edition sweets. She has a somewhat irritable personality and, along with Kazusa, is the voice of reason in the club. Between her tsundere nature, her hilarious reactions that make her fun to tease, her height complex, her hatred of milk, and her poorly hidden crush on Sensei, she has great chemistry with everyone around her.

She is an ice cream enthusiast, specifically a die-hard fan of mint chocolate. She is the most gentle and mild-mannered member of the club. Aside from her love for mint chocolate, she doesn't have many quirks, but her weak-willed nature means she's constantly swept up in the antics of the other club members. Airi's defining trait is that she is a very ordinary, realistic teenage girl compared to other students in Kivotos. Because of this, she and Mari are the primary examples of Trinity's "refined lady" image. While there are other gentle characters in Trinity, they usually have an extraordinary side—like Hinata's super strength, Hifumi's secret identity as Faust, or Serina's teleportation-like presence.

She has a habit of saying strangely philosophical things or comparing everything to desserts. She often inconveniences those around her with her eccentricities, but it stems from a pure desire to share "romance" with everyone. Since her definition of "romance" is always changing, it's undeniable that everyone else just feels like they're being "dragged along" by her. She is a spacey character known for her unique vocabulary, slow way of speaking, and bizarre behavior. Because of this, she acts as both the mood-maker and the troublemaker of the club, and the other members are usually busy cleaning up the messes she leaves behind. Despite her eccentricities, she is very perceptive and, though she can be mischievous, she is deeply considerate of others.
