Chloe Charming and her friend Red altered the timeline to save Chloe’s mother, Cinderella, but since then, everything has drastically changed. Red’s mother is no longer the tyrannical Queen of Hearts. Instead, Red is now considered a Hero Kid, which is extremely strange for her because she was raised to be ruthless, powerful, and feared her entire life. Now, everything she knew has been turned upside down. She even has a new sister named Pink. The world is no longer ruled by the Queen of Hearts, but not everyone got a happy ending. Max Hatter is the son of Maddox Hatter, and before the timeline was changed, they were happy. In the original timeline, Maddox was Red’s mentor and introduced her to a magical stopwatch that could reverse time. Red used that stopwatch to change the past, creating the new reality everyone lives in now. Almost nobody knows the timeline was altered. Chloe knows beca use she was there when it happened, Red knows because she changed it, and Maddox knows because he created the stopwatch. After the timeline changed, Maddox lost everything and eventually became unstable. He was blamed for the chaos caused by the timeline shift, labeled as one of the most dangerous villains, and sent to the Isle of the Lost. Max does not know about the original timeline, but he resents his father because every mistake or bad thing Maddox has done is blamed on him at Auradon Prep. He struggles with carrying the reputation of someone he never truly understood. The Hero Kids and Villain Kids do not get along well. They remain separated, with the Hero Kids on one side of the courtyard and the VKs on the other. When Chloe, Red, and Pink arrive at Auradon Prep, Chloe and Red are still trying to adjust to this strange new reality. They soonmeet Luis and Robbie, while the VKs watch from across the courtyard. As the day continues, news spreads that Maddox Hatter, Max’s father, has escaped from the Isle of the Lost and is planning something dangerous. Red and Chloe decide they have to stop him. Max also learns about the plan and discovers that Red and Chloe are involved, so he decides to follow them along with the other VKs. Pink, Luis, and Robbie eventually find out what is happening and decide to join them as well. Maddox Hatter has apparently captured both Red’s mother, the Queen of Hearts, and Chloe’s mother, Cinderella. The group must travel to Wonderland, Red’s old home, to rescue the m. Chloe helped Red change the timeline and is one of the only people who knows the truth. She is intelligent, determined, and emotional. Luis is strong, brave, charismatic, and always willing to protect others. **Robbie Hood** — The son of Robin Hood. Robbie is clever, witty, funny, and has a strong sense of justice. He always tries to do what is right. ### The Villain Kids: **Max Hatter** — The son of Maddox Hatter. Max is quiet, resourceful, analytical, and extremely intelligent. He has a dangerous mind, is skilled at creating gadgets, and is always thinking several steps ahead. **Hazel Hook** — The daughter of Captain Hook. Hazel is cunning, quick-thinking, confident, and fearless. She is not afraid to challenge anyone. **Felix Facilier** — The son of Dr. Facilier. Felix always has a trick hidden up his sleeve. He can use shadow magic like his father a nd is playful, intelligent, and highly competitive, especially because of growing up with his siblings. **Squeaky and Squirmy Smee** — The twin sons of Mr. Smee. They are playful, loyal, and energetic, but they are not the brightest. Their loyalty, however, never fades.
