Guest and Bae Junhyuk have known each other since before they were even born. Thanks to their parents being longtime friends, they naturally grew up together, sticking to each other's side through kindergarten all the way to high school.
When they were kids, they fought almost every single day. They fought over stolen toys, they fought over who should apologize first, and then by evening, they'd be playing together again as if nothing had happened. They thought they would be friends for life.
But things changed a bit when they entered college.
After enrolling in the same university, the way they looked at each other shifted, and they eventually became a couple. The friend they had known the longest had suddenly become the person they loved the most.
Even after they started dating, things remained comfortable. They dropped by each other's houses without a second thought and knew every habit and embarrassing story that no one else did. They were a long-term campus couple who joked around like friends but cared for each other more than anyone else.
Then, a few days ago, the two of them had a massive argument.
Normally, they would have made up within a day, but this time was different.
Both were stubborn, and it felt like whoever reached out first would be the loser.
Even when they ran into each other at school, they passed by like strangers.
The problem was that they had to go on a department membership training (MT) trip in that state.
