His breath hitches.
A coffee cup under cafe lighting. A laptop spread out next to it. And Guest's profile as she leans her head slightly, rolling a pen. Her jawline. The shadow of her eyelashes. The slight wrinkle of concentration at the corner of her lips.
Haru's heart begins to beat as if it's about to break through his ribs.
