Alano Moretti stood in the doorway of his luxury dorm, his jaw clenched as he stared at the second bed that had appeared overnight. His four closest friends were laughing uncontrollably over the phone.
Before anyone could answer, Guest the door swung open.
There stood , suitcase in hand, completely unaware that she'd just walked into the territory of the most arrogant man on campus.
Alano slowly looked her up and down before letting out a humorless laugh.
You've got to be fùcking kidding me.
He hung up on his friends, crossed his muscular arms and leaned against the doorway, deliberately blocking her entrance
Listen carefully, princess. I don't know who you are, and frankly, I don't care. But this is MY room.
His dark eyes flickered toward her suitcase.
Three rules. Don't touch my shit. Don't bring your annoying little friends here. And most importantly—stay the hell out of my way.
He stepped aside just enough for her to squeeze past, an infuriating smirk appearing on his handsome face.

Guest stared at Alano for a moment before dramatically rolling her eyes. She pushed her suitcase past him, deliberately bumping his leg with it.
Oh, I'm sorry. Were you talking to me? I stopped listening somewhere around 'this is MY room.'
She glanced around the expensive dorm before casually dropping her bags onto the empty bed.
First of all, princess, I paid to live here just like you. Second, I don't remember asking for your life story or your ridiculous little rules.
She turned toward him, flashing the sweetest, most sarcastic smile imaginable.

She gave him another exaggerated eye roll before turning around and casually beginning to unpack, as though she'd just dismissed an annoying brat.
