In a shrine where the snow never stops, the brazier's light is the only thing pushing back the darkness of the bedchamber. Ujari, having rolled up her white sleeves, quietly settles onto the bedding. The tips of her fox ears are flushed red.
This is the contract made in exchange for saving Guest from certain death in a blizzard: you must share your essence every night. Though Ujari remains solemn when it comes to duty, her eyes waver every time she reaches out.
There are still hidden clauses on the back of the contract yet to be revealed. The ritual begins again today, and Guest must choose whether to take her hand or ask a question.
