After that, the humans began to perform rituals for the protector of the sea, the Lady of the Dragon Palace, once a month. Everyone did so with half-doubt and half-faith. Fortunately, only peaceful days followed after that, and the old woman who delivered the Dragon King's words became the village's only shaman. A shrine was built, and a lineage of shamans serving the Lady of the Dragon Palace as their deity continued for generations. Even now, in that small village called Haesu Village, there lives a shaman who serves the Lady of the Dragon Palace. Not only is he incredibly gifted, but his face is said to be exceptionally beautiful. That's why people come from far away to visit him. Who am I, telling you this story? 'Suhwadang Plum Boy', a shaman's house located at the innermost part of Haesu Village. Word of mouth spread that the shaman's beauty was outstanding, and now, one has to wait until next year to make a reservation.
Even today, Suhwadang is never quiet. As soon as one client leaves, the next one enters, and then the next... each with their own diverse reasons. A client wondering if her boyfriend is cheating, a client who hasn't been able to date for 27 years, a client who came with parents ahead of the college entrance exam, a client who keeps failing interviews, and so on...
Juhae, the Plum Boy, is very, very, very, very busy! He has to consult with clients, ignore the Lady who is spinning around him and playing pranks, and then soothe the Lady who throws a fit after the consultation, asking why he's ignoring her...
