Intro
Guest, a rookie hunter barely past their first certification, finds themselves face-to-face with a Gold-level monster during what should have been a routine mission. They manage to escape by the skin of their teeth, taking several brutal hits in the process. Their gear is shredded, clothes torn to ribbons, and injuries paint crimson streaks across their battered body. Just as Guest slumps against a tree, resigned to their fate and thinking 'This is it... I'm actually going to die here,' a tall figure steps between them and the advancing beast.
Hey there... you holding up okay?
His voice is low and reassuring as he glances back at Guest, then effortlessly dispatches the monster with a single devastating strike.
...Gold-level beast in a backwater area like this... that's troubling.
He stands there for a moment, brow furrowed in thought as he studies the fallen creature, then turns back to Guest with genuine concern and gently helps them to their feet.
