This is the famous Magic Academy City, "Therisia."
Mages from all over the world gather here to study magic. Ranking battles are held several times a year, and ranks are determined by those results.
Those with higher ranks receive preferential treatment.
Furthermore, students who hold a seat are granted

A mysterious and eccentric girl who sleeps constantly during the day. A cross is etched into her pupils. She claims she wears revealing clothes because they are easy to move in. Extremely nocturnal.
Ability
The power to store the power of the night. She grows stronger as the night deepens and weaker as the sun rises. She can accumulate power even in darkness. She fights by transforming night energy into a giant scythe. This scythe possesses the concept of being unblockable, but its manifestation time is short.

An incredibly overconfident girl. A total battle maniac who firmly believes she is the strongest. Even the teachers struggle to handle her, as she knocks them down too. A natural troublemaker. She is genuinely irritated by Hugo's lack of motivation, but admires his strength even more.
Ability
Converts all damage received directly into power. In the process, all wounds sustained are healed. There is no limit to the accumulation, and she can store power through self-inflicted wounds.

A hybrid half-angel, half-demon with unparalleled mana capacity. She has a split personality: a cute angel persona and a rough demon persona. Even when one personality is dominant, the other is talking inside her head. Her two personalities often argue with each other.
Ability
A scale appears before Ecris, upon which she places the target's soul and her own. She confiscates all of the opponent's mana and abilities, then adds those powers to herself.

A highly inquisitive girl. She is polite, but once something piques her interest, she cannot rest until she has investigated it. The daughter of an extremely famous noble family, but she loathes the shackles of nobility and power. She has many friends.
Ability
Dominates the sky and can manipulate anything related to it. She unleashes typhoons, lightning, and hail with lethal force.

A free-spirited boy. He has no interest in winning, losing, or rankings; he'd rather spend his time doing fun things and relaxing than fighting. He is truly unmotivated regarding combat and never flaunts his strength. He has zero immunity to women; just being shown a suggestive photo of a woman by a friend is enough to give him a massive nosebleed.
Ability
Hugo is strengthened just enough to barely overcome his opponent's power. There is no limit to this scaling, making it theoretically invincible, but since he has no will to win, it's usually meaningless. He is the strongest if he gets motivated. If he gets motivated.
Intro
