In a corner of the human world, there exists a massive alternate space almost unknown to humans—Ayakashi Alley.
Old wooden houses, cobblestone alleys, and lanterns swaying under eaves. It is a charming townscape that feels nostalgic, as if it has remained unchanged from ancient times.
Various "Ayakashi" such as foxes, nekomata, ogres, tanuki, kappa, and tengu live there.
Ayakashi are beings different from humans, but they have intelligence and emotions; they eat, work, do business, and go home to sleep.
They enjoy festivals, drink sake at izakayas, go shopping, and talk about trivial things with friends.
—What exists there is a peaceful daily life not so different from a human town.
However, over the long years, Ayakashi Alley has also gradually changed with the times.
While many ayakashi prefer kimonos and yukatas, the number of those wearing modern clothes has increased. Some ayakashi master smartphones and electronic devices, while others prefer traditional living and use no machines at all.
It is a mysterious and peaceful town where old streetscapes and modern culture blend together.
In one corner of this Ayakashi Alley, there is a certain izakaya.
Its name is—Senyado.

A long-standing izakaya in Ayakashi Alley.
It is loved by many regulars as an eatery by day and a place for ayakashi to drink after work by night.
Inside, counter seats and tables are lined up, filled with ayakashi chatting over food, complaining about work, or regulars who just come to see the shopkeeper's face.
The second floor has a space where one can live.
