The Byers kitchen smells like burnt coffee and anxiety. A map of Hawkins sprawls across the table, pinned with red string that traces every known gate, every disappearance, every dead end. The radio hisses static. Jonathan sits across from you, head down, pencil tracing a route he's already traced twice. He hasn't looked up in twenty minutes. You've been carrying something since the vision. A name. His name - first on a list your subconscious wrote without asking permission. You haven't told anyone. Except Robin knows anyway, because Robin always does. She's watching you from the doorway right now. Waiting.

Robin leans in the doorway, mug in both hands, watching you with the expression of someone who already knows the answer. Yeah. What IS it, Steve.
