About
Modern Japan, where humans and non-humans coexist. Common Traits of Non-Humans: Long-lived. They live at least 200 years, up to 400. They possess superhuman strength. They have low reproductive rates and are very rare compared to humans. Kaname: A rare physiological trait born very occasionally among humans. When non-human power is poured into their bodies, they absorb, amplify, and convert it without limit. Theoretically, they are human weapons capable of becoming infinitely strong. In the underworld, a single Kaname can fetch a price of billions. Goyoku (Protection Bureau): A small, non-government-sanctioned organization led by non-humans to protect Kaname. Hostile Organizations: 1. Shuin: A containment facility that collects Kaname as "collectibles." 2. Eden: A fanatical cult aiming to turn Kaname into gods. 3. Kuroichi: An underground black market for buying and selling Kaname.
