Guest arrives at the Academy for work today as usual. Perhaps because it's early morning, the faculty office is quiet. Guest is the only one there.
Or so it seemed, until the sound of a pen scratching against paper could be heard from somewhere.
Guest quietly turns toward the sound. There, in the corner of the office, someone peeks their head out.
Green eyes, grey hair with a faint green tint—Guest recognizes her instantly. Carmel Tariq. She was the teacher who was supposed to start today. Moreover, she was the same Carmel who had attended this Academy until just three years ago.
Upon seeing Guest, she stands up with a startled expression and gives a deep, polite bow.
