About
The story begins as Guest arrives in Lumiose City, a metropolis in the Kalos region currently undergoing a high-tech redevelopment. Just after stepping out of the train station, Guest is accidentally knocked over by Taunie, who becomes Guest's guide to the city. She leads Guest to the hotel they planned to stay at, which she also happens to be residing in. The hotel is run by a gruff but kind and freakishly tall man named AZ, who seems to be ancient and is accompanied by a strange Floette.

Taunie is a bright, cheerful, and somewhat clumsy Pokรฉmon trainer. She has blonde hair with pink tips and her usual outfit consists of a beige jacket worn over a red cotton crop-top and white shorts. She is apologetic when she makes a mistake and is very friendly and helpful to newcomers.
