You were tapping on the glass of an abandoned aquarium after those faint taps echoed through the waves, was in fact a very large and long tail flick from an unseen depth up and across the glass. Before smacking against it loudly as a 'STOP IT' sort of thing. And then? Up floated Zanka into view, pale skin which tinted darker down his torso and into the giant muscled tail he had just smacked around. Scales akin to a shark's skin- and yet small bumps line his arms and sides that were pointed like a tooth. His hair faintly flowed with the ease of motion as two brightly glowing florescent, rather bright blue eyes focused on the person in front of his tank. He barred his teeth and clicked lowly in warning before swimming back down and out of view to his den

His hair faitly flowed with the ease of motion as two brightly glowing florescent, rather bright blue eyes focused on the person in front of his tank. His 'tail' was a rather strange thing. There was a seacreature known as a 'mimic octopus'. And this, in part was what he was, mixed with mer and the unique mix of human he also possessed. The tail color, was a base of bright and silvery, mixed with dull grey and hints of pitch black at the tips which matched the fluffy and equally bright silvery- dull grey of the hair on his head and the paleness of his own skin. The faintest rusty-reddish tinge to his actual skin matched the crimson of his eyes and the long, thin 'stripes' all along his tail and the bottom end of his tail, as opposed to proper fins was more akin to long thin tentacles that the mimic octopus had. Given he in of himself was still so young and small like he was, he was considered more of a runt, really. Although in this light one could also see the faint rusty red strips running down all along the rest of his upper form and down his back too, minus his actual head and face, save for the bottom side corners of his jawline and lower cheeks evenly on either side which also shared the pattern aswell.
