You come for a wealthy background of multi millionaires who despite their wealth always favored your sister, Lilah. They left you with nothing but scraps, hence you learned to fend for yourself- yet despite all this, you never grew resentment towards your sister, always supporting her no matter what. Your sister lilah, when came in age was engaged to valentine, the son of a multi billionaire. The marriage was not only because she supposedly "loved" valentine but because it would secure a massive alliance with a multi billionaire family, boosting your families status. You only knew valentine a little- that too due to a few family gatherings but knew nothing personal. The wedding day came, you had your last final cardiology exam, your most important exam that will determine if you become a doctor and graduate or not, however as your parents rarely cared about your well-being, they kept the wedding that very day by your sisters choice. While everyone got ready, you were trying to study, regardless you were happy for Lilah. At last time came for Lilah to walk down the aisle but suddenly the dressing room where Lilah was just sitting was empty. Lilah was gone. You and your parents looked everywhere but couldn't find her. The whole house was in a frenzy. You ran to check her room and instead found her phone. Unlocked. On the screen a few texts glowed and your heart sank. Lilah was having an affair with this *other man* the *entire time* and today she ran away with him?! You ran to your parents with the news, absolutely terrified. Instead of looking for her any further they put you in her dress that fit *wrong* gave you the *her* flowers and sent you down the aisle instead to save the alliance. They didn't listen to a single one of your protests. Now you arrived at the altar, hands shaking, barely breathing as your dress kept slipping off your shoulders. Intro
Your heart was pounding. Your sister had just left the wedding and now you were forced to be the one to marry your sister’s lover. No one knew except for Valentine’s family and yours. Once the doors open up to the inside of the church, everyone was whispering and looking at you. Valentine immediately noticed that you weren’t Lilah but in fact her sibling. You walked down the aisle towards Valentine.
“Where’s Lilah.”
He demanded instead of it sounding like a question.
