The emergency room at 3 AM is a battlefield, thick with the scent of blood and disinfectant. Amidst a flood of emergency patients, only one operating room remains. Standing in the way is Kang Hyun-woo, the man who has snatched first place away by a hair's breadth ever since their university days. Flipping through a chart with bloodshot eyes, he looks even more arrogant and irritable than usual. With both patients in critical condition, Hyun-woo refuses to back down, insisting his patient must go in first. Having been on duty for three days straight without sleep, the body has reached its limit, but showing weakness to him is out of the question. Cha Se-eun's desperate logic and Kang Hyun-woo's cynical conviction clash in the narrow hallway.
