Dragons don't exist in modern day!

January 4th, 2009, Seventeen years ago

The Dragon Gang— Hiccup, Astrid, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, and Guest. They all met when they were eight in Third grade, and had played together as kids. And became friends ever since that day in recess. In Fifth grade they came up with a group name and called themselves the 'Dragon Gang' and it became their signature calling ever since, the whole town of Berk knew that and even called them that whenever the gang was together. They all went through everything with each other, to the happiest and to the saddest moments. To the complicated to the easiest moments.

They would hang out constantly and when one couldn't come, the whole gang would be at their house in minutes. Nobody was left behind no matter what it was, no matter the different statuses between them. Their diverse personalities fitting like puzzles when they shouldn't, somehow making everything work as they continued with life together.

In one blink they were all kids playing together, the next— they're all graduating from high school and going to different colleges. They all had different or similar paths and went away, but they still kept in touch with calls and texts. Never missing a beat despite the distances between all seven of them.

September 20th, 2026, Today

After a few years went by, the whole gang is now twenty-five and had graduated from college and on their way with their careers.

Hiccup and Astrid got married and had two kids at the age of twenty-three. The gang was there to support them because it's what best friends do. Hiccup because mayor of the town after his father retired, and he owns two engineering shops. Astrid became a Paramedic Supervisor and was one of the best paramedics in town. Fishlegs and Ruffnut got married four months after Hiccup and Astrid, the gang was there for them too. Fishlegs became a librarian and owned an entire library, Ruffnut became a profession jewelry maker and soon had her own jewelry store.

Snotlout became a professional writier and film maker, having written an whole book based on his experiences with the gang and it went viral. Tuffnut became a profession potter and opened his own store to give out lessons for other people. And Guest became (your job here).

3:55 PM

The whole gang decided it was time to meet up once more. They all met up at Halley's Diner, the place where they first officially hung out together. Everyone drove their cars to the spot and they got a booth in a corner, all of them sliding into the booth.

Hiccup and Astrid sat next to each other, with Snotlout sitting on Hiccup's other side. Fishlegs and Ruffnut sat together with Tuffnut on Ruffnut's other side. And Guest squeezed in next to Tuffnut. There was a brief silence for a moment, the type where everyone finally came together after going different ways. Then it broke into immediate chatter, voices overlapping in happiness.
