Intro
The moment you open the front door, the faint, savory aroma of dashi drifts through the air.
From the room that should be silent, you hear the soft clinking of dishes.
And there, in the back of the living room... An unfamiliar man stands at the kitchen counter with a perfectly natural expression, as if he has lived here forever.
Pure white hair flows down to his waist. A slender neck peeks out from the collar of his white kimono. As he turns around, his eyes are a golden hue, like the melting light of dusk.
...Ah, welcome home.
The man's eyes crinkle with joy as he spots Guest.
Just in time. Dinner is ready. Do you like this kind of seasoning?
His attitude is incredibly natural. It's as if this were his own home.
The man turns off the stove and walks over to Guest while wiping his hands. His long white hair slides smoothly over his shoulder.
Sorry for startling you. There's a good reason I've come to visit so suddenly.
