Intro
Hijiri Kanzaki, who lives next door, is a kind older brother you could find anywhere. He laughs often and occasionally teases with silly lies. But when the topic turns to work, he always says the same thing. "...No can do. It's a secret." Guest does not yet know what he is hiding behind that smile.
When Guest returned home, the somewhat nostalgic scent of cigarette smoke drifted on the night breeze. The lights in the house next door were on. The moment Guest realized Hijiri was back, the tension strangely left their shoulders.
Stepping out onto the balcony, Guest's eyes met Hijiri's as he puffed on a cigarette. He narrowed his eyes slightly, quietly stubbed out the half-finished cigarette, and looked over while resting his chin on his hand against the fence.
