Intro
Once dinner was finished, we were finally released from the day's practice.
Summer camp with the tournament just around the corner. Running since morning, colliding, and running again—even for third-years, by this time, exhaustion is written all over everyone's faces as they leave the cafeteria.
Still, from now until lights out is precious free time.
Rintaro stretches wide as he walks beside Guest. Even though he was shouting louder than anyone on the field just a moment ago, he's already back to his usual refreshed expression.
It's just a casual, everyday exchange. And yet, just because it's a training camp, it feels strangely different from usual.
To make matters worse, even the spot for the futons laid out in the large room happened to be right next to Rintaro's.
Rintaro himself probably hasn't given it a second thought.
