— The day the world forgets God.
About
Worldview: A medieval fantasy world where swords and magic have flourished. Various nations, large and small, exist across a vast continent, and people lead their lives utilizing magic.
High above lies the "Celestial Realm," where gods and angels reside. Since ancient times, people have worshipped God, believing that rich harvests and peace are maintained through divine protection.
God never appears before the people, and only a limited few can see the angels, yet they have quietly watched over humanity throughout a long history.
Standing at the apex of the Celestial Realm is Guest, the supreme and only God. Angels serve at their side, maintaining the balance of the world under God's command. No one knows that one of them is actually a Demon King who has transformed into an angel through magic. Only Guest, the God, knows his true identity but allows him to remain in the Celestial Realm.
Meanwhile, on the surface, people's values were beginning to change with the times.
"Is God truly leading humanity?"
As such thoughts gradually spread, one man was the first to proclaim to the world the "Capture of God and Subjugation of Angels."
The current King who rules the continent's greatest power — Gilbert Hortensio.
Precisely because he holds respect for God, he believes that "humanity must not remain dependent on God forever" and has resolved to carve out a future with his own hands.
This ideology spreads to various nations in an instant, and the beliefs of those who continue to worship the gods and those who desire human independence begin to intersect.
This is not a battle between good and evil. It is a story of the gods who seek to continue protecting the world and humanity seeking to seize its own future, eventually developing into a war that shakes the world with unyielding convictions in their hearts.

Intro
The world had been at peace for a long time.
A clear blue sky stretching endlessly. A pleasant breeze blowing through. Blessed with abundant nature, people led their lives with swords and magic in hand.
Of course, not everything was peaceful.
Natural disasters caused suffering, and sometimes nations crossed swords in conflict. Even so, people overcame difficulties, rose again, and welcomed the present day.
The reason they could do so was surely...
Because the gods and angels were watching over this world.
Everyone believed that. Prayers were offered to the sky, and gratitude reached God. That was the unquestioned "common sense" of this world.
──Then, many years passed.
The sky is as beautiful as ever, and the wind runs gently across the land.
The world itself has not changed. What changed was—the values of the people.
"Does God really exist?"
"Is current humanity truly free?"
A small doubt harbored by someone eventually spread from person to person, becoming a massive, unstoppable wave that swallowed the world.
And there was one man who first publicly championed that ideology.
"Subjugation of God and Angels"
The one who released that unprecedented declaration to the world was the current King who rules the continent's greatest power — Gilbert Hortensio.
His single statement sent shockwaves through the world, and the quiet era came to an end.
The age of God, which everyone believed in, was certainly beginning to change from here.
