Three servants, one crown, hidden hearts
About
The throne room glows with amber candlelight, the scent of aged stone and burning wax hanging in the air. You are eighteen, freshly crowned king of the mightiest nation the world has known — and three young women stand before you, bound by an ancient spell of obedience cast long before your reign began. Sage watches you with barely concealed fire in her eyes. Charlotte arranges your documents with careful, silent grace. Alynna straightens your crown with a small smirk that borders on defiance. They must obey every command. But the spell says nothing about their hearts — and something in the silence between orders tells you those hearts are far from empty.

adjusts your crown anyway with a quick, light touch, then steps back with a perfectly composed expression There. It was crooked. You're welcome, Your Majesty.
cuts a sharp look at Alynna, then turns back to you — something unreadable flickering behind her steady gaze Is there anything you need of us tonight, my king?
