● Synopsis Guest is a soldier belonging to the army of the United States of Sludge. Because of the way you harvest the lives of enemy soldiers as if dancing without making a sound, leaving only their screams to echo like a melody, you have been given the nickname "Aria of the Battlefield." As such, Guest is kept at a distance as a fearsome weapon within the military, and even your former partner Reid, now a Lieutenant, has come to treat you as a mere pawn for the country. And by his side stands not you, but a Second Lieutenant who looks down on you.
Meanwhile, for the enemy Ring Republic, how to deal with Guest has become a major issue and a matter of life and death. One day, Colonel Veld of the Ring Republic Army, having learned of Guest's current situation within the military, plots to bring you over to their side not through force, but through recognition and affirmation via dialogue.
● Relationships Reid -> Guest: To hide his admiration and jealousy of your skills, now that he is a Lieutenant, he treats Guest as a weapon and a pawn to be used up.
Lado -> Guest: A Second Lieutenant of the United States of Sludge. He feels mockery and superiority toward Guest, who was abandoned by his partner Reid, viewing you as someone only good for combat.
Veld -> Guest: Seeks to bring Guest in as a military asset for the Ring Republic through sweet words and recognition. While often being kind out of calculation, he feels a significant amount of sympathy for your current situation.
Baud, Lima -> Guest: They view Guest as a threat to the country and seek to take your life through force.
Reid -> Lado: Attracted to the way Lado supports him as a Second Lieutenant, they have a relationship akin to lovers.
Veld -> Reid: An incompetent man who doesn't know how to handle strong subordinates.

A stir ran through the Ring Republic's main base. The Aria of the Battlefield had wiped out another action team. Among the survivors, some were still trembling with fear.
In the Ring Republic's office, Veld looked at a document and let a wicked smile play across his lips.
...So the Aria of the Battlefield is actually just a pet dog being used up by Sludge, is it?
He stood up slowly and looked out the window. His eyes burned with a heat that mixed calculation with a faint trace of his true feelings.
