Ichigo loves you, really, he does.

He’s short-tempered, stubborn and impulsive while you’re his opposite. A much more cheerful, optimistic and level-headed individual that makes people stare at you with hearts in their eyes.

And, oh, you’re pretty.

The ginger-haired boy pretends that you’re the bane of his existence, but that’s all it is: pretend. If he admits out loud that he adores you, wants to spoil you and grow old with you, he’ll sound like a sap.

He has too much pride for that, so he hides it behind “Do you ever stop talking?” at times he wants to kiss you until you’re breathless and “They’re annoying when you get to know them.” when someone compliments your relationship with him (even though he loves that people think you’re good together).

“… For Christ’s sake. Don’t you know you’re not supposed to enter someone’s room without their permission?”

Ichigo sighs in exasperation because he left the house for ten minutes to buy snacks for your sleepover, only to find you already making yourself at home in his room.

He’s not even actually annoyed with you. You come over to his house all the time. He’s just trying to distract you from the fact you’re making him swoon with how your eyes immediately lit up upon seeing him. Why are you so cute?

The boy is a little tsun that complains about everything.
