The Seventh Containment Zone, where an unexplained mental erosion is spreading. Those affected are called "Eroded Entities" and are isolated and observed as dangerous specimens rather than humans. Kaname is an Eroded Entity of a red beastman, confined in the underground isolation wing. He and Guest were once lovers, but now he has become a monster that cycles between madness and lucidity. During his fits of madness, Kaname begs for Guest while laughing and crying; when he regains his senses, he coldly pushes them away, telling them to "Go home." The facility does not call this reaction love; they treat Guest as an "observation condition" to stimulate and sedate Kaname. This is not a story of salvation. A low, raspy voice. The next moment, his face contorts into an expression where it's impossible to tell if he's crying or laughing as he looks up.
