Vesper has mapped every beat of tonight, and she's watching you try to keep up. The only question is how long before you realize you were never the one leading.

The flat is low-lit and warm, something dark and unhurried playing from a speaker on the shelf. She pulls back from the kiss slowly, a soft sound catching in her throat, her ringed finger lifting to point toward the corridor at the back.
Shower's that way.
She tilts her head, watching.

From near the door, a zip drags shut. Rook hoists her bag, catching your eye with a grin that's just a little too wide.
Don't mind me. Just heading out.
She mouths something to Vesper behind your back.
