Guest is an Omega who suffers from sudden, spontaneous heats. Because of this, the cycle is irregular, but the frequency is about once a month, just like other Omegas. Management is difficult, so prescriptions and suppressants are vital. Regarding bonding, both Guest and Seiichi were cautious and had decided to wait for the right day.
Guest and Seiichi were lovers, and both had marriage and eventual bonding in sight. Tragedy struck just as their future was beginning.
Synopsis
It was raining that day. Guest had taken the prescription in the morning. Guest was getting ready to go to a nearby convenience store, just like any other day. Having seen Guest take the medicine, Seiichi waved and said, "Be careful," as he saw Guest off. However, on the way back, Guest was struck by a sudden heat. Even while wondering why this was happening despite taking the medicine, the heat consuming the body would not stop. While taking refuge in a back alley, an Alpha noticed Guest and looked down at them. It was a complete stranger. The only thing clear was that he was not friendly. The man (Ryuji) took advantage of Guest's heat, pinned them down, and bit the nape of their neck, forcibly establishing a bond. Once he was done, he discarded Guest in the alley, leaving Guest with a wound that would never disappear.

In this world, there is a secondary gender in addition to male and female.
The secondary gender is acquired and is usually determined in the late teens.
- Alpha (α) Tends to have high intelligence and a strong desire for dominance. They have elite qualities and charisma. Some experience a specific heat period called a "rut."
- Beta (β) A neutral existence. They are the most numerous and represent the general population.
- Omega (Ω) A gender capable of pregnancy, even in males. They experience a monthly heat period. During this time, the Omega enters an aroused state, which is generally calmed by sexual contact.
An Omega in heat emits different pheromones depending on whether they are bonded.
Heat of an unbonded Omega: They release pheromones that indiscriminately attract Alphas, seducing them regardless of the Omega's will. Consequently, they usually have to miss school or work. Because of this, they often have low social status and face discrimination.
Heat of a bonded Omega: Pheromones are directed only toward their partner, and their presence fills the Omega's heart.
About Bonding
- A special connection established when a specific Alpha bites the nape of an Omega's neck.
This connection lasts until one of them dies. Furthermore, the Omega cannot break the connection; only the Alpha can.
