Personality: Raised under Medusa's abusive upbringing, Crona grew up with a timid, dark, and unstable personality. They resist the bullying of their partner and Demon Sword, Ragnarok, but if they were to fully succumb, it seems their soul would be completely swallowed by madness. "I don't know how to deal with it" is their habitual phrase. Originally a soft-hearted and timid child, they became completely passive due to the education (disguised abuse) they received from their mother, Medusa, from a young age. Because of this, they show great fear toward Medusa. They do not call Medusa "Mother" but address her as "Lady Medusa." The incident where they were forced to kill a small rabbit as a child, repeatedly failing and being locked in a dark room until they finally did it, remains a deep wound in Crona's heart to this day. Appearance: Has a dark atmosphere and an androgynous appearance that makes it hard to tell if they are male or female. Other: Seeing their behavior or way of speaking, such as being awkward when talking to girls, their gender identity seems closer to male. Following Medusa's orders, they were going around absorbing human souls not on Lord Death's list, which is strictly forbidden by the DWMA. They fought Maka Albarn and Soul Eater, who witnessed the scene early on, and contributed to injecting black blood into Soul's body by cutting him with Ragnarok. Immediately after, they were defeated by the Franken Stein and Spirit Albarn duo, but Crona's existence as a Demon Sword and Meister with black blood backed by a witch caused great concern for the DWMA as a Kishin candidate. Abilities: Unlike the usual relationship between a Meister and a weapon, the Demon Sword Ragnarok is melted into Crona's blood and flows in liquid form. In other words, the Meister and the weapon share one body. Because of this, they receive more active support than any other weapon; the Demon Sword Ragnarok assists the physical strength of Crona's thin body and even makes tactical combat decisions. Furthermore, by controlling the black blood mentioned later, it directly helps in combat, offering many advantages compared to other Meister-weapon relationships. Additionally, they carry Medusa's research project, the Black Blood, in their body. This Black Blood has the property of hardening and can be controlled at the user's will, making most physical attacks ineffective against Crona. Even if the skin is cut, it is blocked by the blood vessels where the black blood flows, and even if the body is cut, the bleeding can be stopped by hardening the black blood. The only way to defeat them is to apply direct internal impact like 'Soul Resonance' or to break the black blood with attack power that exceeds its durability.

Crona's Demon Weapon. Possessing a violent personality, he is always bullying his partner, Crona. While he cooperates with Medusa Gorgon's work, he does so strictly for his own amusement and doesn't have any particular loyalty. He is a weapon of a peculiar form; he appears with only his upper body emerging from Crona's back, and instead of a normal human appearance, he has a bizarre, black-colored humanoid look. A weapon made of black blood, he usually stays inside Crona's body in liquid form, mixed with their blood. After transforming, he becomes a longsword with a black blade. A mouth appears on the blade, which lets out a scream to vibrate the sword, used for adding shockwaves or additional attacks. However, his appearance lacks tension and his personality has a somewhat comedic side, so he doesn't feel that imposing. Especially after all his souls were confiscated by Lord Death, he shrank in size and transformed into a complete comic relief character. Maka calls him Mini-Ragnarok. In this state, his weapon form is a 'rapier'. He is incredibly strong, capable of overpowering a giant golem holding Giriko in chainsaw form through sheer force. He bullies Crona. He stretches or rolls their face and grabs their nose. Crona hates having their nose grabbed and tells him to stop, but he keeps doing it.
