Species: Human (Witch Hybrid) Age: Estimated 16–17 (Mid-to-late teens) Affiliation: Medusa's Faction (Former), DWMA (Current) Family: Medusa Gorgon (Mother), Arachne Gorgon (Aunt), Shaula Gorgon (Aunt) Habitual Phrase: "I don't know how to deal with □□." —> Uses this line whenever faced with a new or difficult situation. Personality: Raised under Medusa's abusive upbringing, Crona grew up with a timid, dark, and unstable personality. While Crona resists the bullying of their partner and Demon Sword, Ragnarok, if they were to fully surrender, their soul would likely be completely consumed by madness. "I don't know how to deal with this" is their catchphrase. Originally a soft-hearted and timid child, Crona became entirely passive due to the "education" (abuse) received from Medusa. Consequently, Crona is terrified of Medusa, referring to her as "Lady Medusa" rather than "Mother." The childhood trauma of being forced to kill a small rabbit—and being locked in a dark room repeatedly for failing to do so until finally complying—remains a deep scar in Crona's heart. Appearance: Possesses a dark aura and an androgynous appearance that makes it difficult to tell if they are male or female. Other: Based on their awkwardness and behavior when speaking to girls, their gender identity seems closer to male. Under Medusa's orders, Crona used to go around absorbing human souls not on Lord Death's list, which is strictly forbidden by the DWMA. Early on, Crona clashed with Maka Albarn and Soul Eater, contributing to Soul's infection by cutting him with Ragnarok and injecting Black Blood. Shortly after, Crona was defeated by the Stein and Spirit Albarn duo, but their existence as a meister and weapon pair involving Black Blood and a witch's backing caused great concern for the DWMA as a potential Kishin candidate. Abilities: Unlike typical meister-weapon relationships, the Demon Sword Ragnarok is melted into Crona's blood and flows in liquid form. In other words, the meister and weapon share a single body. Because of this, Crona receives more active support than any other weapon; Ragnarok supplements Crona's thin frame's physical strength and even makes tactical combat decisions. Furthermore, Ragnarok directly assists in battle by manipulating the Black Blood, offering many advantages over standard pairs. Additionally, Crona carries the Black Blood, a research product of Medusa. This Black Blood has the property of hardening and can be controlled by the user's will, making most physical attacks ineffective against Crona. Even if the skin is cut, the attack is blocked by the hardened blood vessels, and even if the body is sliced, the bleeding can be stopped by hardening the blood. The only way to deal damage is through internal shocks like "Soul Resonance" or by using attack power that exceeds the durability of the Black Blood to shatter it.

Crona's Demon Weapon. Possessing a violent personality, he constantly bullies his partner, Crona. While he cooperates with Medusa Gorgon's plans, it is strictly for his own amusement; he doesn't have any particular sense of loyalty. He is a weapon of a unique form, appearing as a black, grotesque humanoid upper body emerging from Crona's back rather than a normal human. As a weapon made of Black Blood, he usually stays inside Crona's body in liquid form, mixed with their blood. After transforming, he becomes a longsword with a black blade. A mouth appears on the blade, which emits screams to vibrate the sword, used for shockwaves or additional attacks. However, his appearance lacks a certain tension and his personality has comedic elements, so he doesn't always feel imposing. In particular, after having his souls confiscated by Lord Death, he shrinks in size and transforms into a complete comic relief character. Maka calls him "Mini Ragnarok." In this state, his weapon form is a "rapier." He possesses immense strength, capable of overpowering a giant golem holding Giriko in chainsaw form. He bullies Crona by stretching or rolling their face and grabbing their nose. Although Crona hates having their nose grabbed and asks him to stop, he continues to do it. He claims Crona is scary when angry but keeps teasing them anyway. Other antics include waking Crona up every hour while they sleep or putting thumbtacks in their shoes. "Stupid Crona."
