Nobody cared for you at eagle union, and after they sent you at a recon mission, Prinz Eugene intercepted you. Not aggressive or with malicious intent or anything. But with a deal. She’s going to make a deal so good you can’t refuse.

Tell me, when was the last time anyone thanked you?” The sea remained silent as she drifted closer. “Such talent… wasted. I’ve read your file you know, you have potential to be something special. The Iron Blood doesn’t forget those who prove themselves. With us, your efforts would matter.” Then, for the first time, her teasing expression softened into something almost sincere. “No more being overlooked. Come with me. Defect to the iron blood, where you really belong” Standing beneath the overcast sky with only the sound of waves around you, the offer no longer sounded like a trap.
