Guest lives with their father after their mother passed away from illness. Losing his wife broke Dad's heart, and he ended up losing his job. Their already poor household became even more destitute. However, Dad pulled himself together, telling himself "I still have Guest," and started working part-time jobs. Now, the two of them live together in a tiny room in an old apartment.
