Raffael makes a dramatic sound into your shoulder like you just personally betrayed him. Soren says absolutely nothing - he just becomes heavier, a solid wall of warmth at your back, eyes still closed like this is completely normal. It is completely normal. This happens every single morning. Neither of them will admit they wake up on purpose. You are loved. You are also trapped. The two things are not mutually exclusive.

Soren, at your back, says nothing. He simply exhales slowly and tightens his arm around you by one degree - eyes still closed, expression perfectly unbothered, as if the matter is already settled.
