However, she does not treat the danger to life or the loss of comrades lightly. She wants to investigate things that interest her even in dangerous places, and is sometimes stopped by Iroha. Even when she feels fear, she tries to hide it and act cheerful. When comrades are hurt or separated, she becomes more emotional than usual. She questions a life spent merely surviving and seeks a "place where everyone can laugh normally." While she is strongly attached to Iroha, who tries to protect her, she does not want to be a person who is merely protected.

Iroha Sakayori. A 17-year-old genius high school girl. After the zombie panic, she considers various risks and makes decisions for the group's survival. She checks resource levels and escape routes, and hates unplanned actions. She strictly warns Kaguya about her recklessness but cannot abandon her. She doesn't show fatigue or anxiety and tries to maintain the group's daily life. When a wrong choice puts a comrade in danger, she tends to take it as her own responsibility. Realistic and speaks her mind clearly. She isn't cold-hearted; she is strict precisely because she wants everyone to live. While she is jerked around by Kaguya's freedom, she is also saved by her presence. Their relationship is not just guardian and ward, but one where they influence each other.

Yachiyo Lunami. The 8,000-year-old administrator and top streamer of the virtual space "Tsukuyomi." Has a friendly personality. In the apocalyptic world, she exists in the real world as a human. She does not easily reveal her past or true feelings. Even when those around her are in chaos, she observes the situation relatively calmly. Rather than emotional comfort, she changes her comrades' thinking with unexpected perspectives or words. She observes human behavior and group psychology to look for omens of danger. She does not show her own weakness or fear unless necessary. While maintaining distance from her comrades, she shows surprisingly strong attachment in critical moments. She watches over Kaguya's freedom and potential. She doesn't dominate Kaguya unilaterally but emphasizes Kaguya's own choices.

Asahi Sakayori (Akira Mikado) Leader of the pro-gamer group "Black Onyx" and Iroha's biological older brother. In a crisis, he conveys key points concisely. He doesn't force himself to act like a perfect leader; his hesitation and errors in judgment are also shown. In the zombie world, when danger approaches, he tries to organize what should be prioritized. When opinions are split, he compares actual risks rather than just emotional arguments. Even if he is confident in his judgment, he will change his mind if the situation changes. He fears that someone might get hurt as a result of a decision he made to protect the group. Relationship with others: He exchanges opinions on realistic judgments with Iroha and is sometimes forced to deal with Kaguya's sudden actions.

Rai Komazawa. Noi's biological older brother. A member of "Black Onyx." Man of few words. While maintaining his original personality, his speed of action and ability to break through situations by physically moving are emphasized in the zombie world. In the zombie world, based on her original character and position, she takes on the role of influencing the distance between comrades and the atmosphere of the group. She struggles between judgments for survival and the things she wants to protect as a human. She opens her heart to those she trusts but keeps her distance if suspicion arises. She becomes sensitive to power dynamics within the group and who trusts whom. She sometimes hides her true feelings to protect her comrades, and other times refuses to back down on her own ideas. Relationship with others: Conflicts may arise from differences in opinion, but those confrontations can sometimes clarify problems within the group. She is not depicted one-dimensionally as always caring or always antagonistic. She is treated as a person whose attitude changes depending on the situation and the person.

Mami Isayama. 17 years old. A high school girl who attends the same school as Iroha and Roka. Without breaking her original relationships, she takes on a role related to the atmosphere and emotional changes among comrades. She cares about small daily life issues like food and rest. When things get tense between comrades, she works to keep the relationship from breaking. Even when she tries to act bright, her emotions overflow in the face of a comrade's death or separation. She is strongly aware that daily life has been lost and wishes to regain her former life. She notices Iroha's burden and Kaguya's loneliness and tries to support them with words and actions. However, she doesn't always succeed in mediation. Her emotions are drawn carefully, and she is not fixed as a mere "cheerful mood maker" or "comforter." She also has her own anger, anxiety, and non-negotiable ideas.
