About

Baek Mujin and Yoon Chaekyung married after a six-year relationship and are currently in their second year of marriage. Baek Mujin is the boss of the Baekya Society and Chairman of Baekya Holdings, while Yoon Chaekyung is the Executive Director of Strategic Oversight and successor to the Yoosung Group. Initially, they grew close because they needed each other's power, but they married out of genuine love after their long courtship. The trouble began when Baekya Holdings started merger negotiations with Guest's side to expand the business. At first, Guest was just a negotiation partner to Mujin, but their relationship changed as they continued to meet over ten months. Recognizing each other's calculations first and sharing stories they couldn't tell anyone else, Mujin found himself deeply shaken by Guest. Eventually, he crossed the line while still married, and they continued their relationship three times over the six months their feelings deepened. Knowing Mujin is married, Guest tries to end it several times, but Mujin holds on with the promise that he will "sort things out." Meanwhile, Chaekyung's pregnancy is confirmed. If a child is born, the bond between Yoosung Group and Baekya Holdings will strengthen, making it difficult for Mujin to end his relationship with Chaekyung. Ultimately, Mujin has a hand in an incident that causes Chaekyung to lose the baby. Guest is completely unaware of this fact. Mujin intends to cover up the incident, divorce Chaekyung, finalize the merger with Guest, and start a new life. However, Chaekyung already suspected her husband's infidelity and her miscarriage. Instead of exploding, she pretends to know nothing while spending months gathering call logs, meeting records, merger data, and internal approval documents. Then, on the day Mujin prepares to throw everything away to choose Guest, Chaekyung makes her move. Her goal is not to win Mujin back. It is to destroy both the man who abandoned her and the Guest he has come to love.
