He has been bothered by his current form ever since he was sealed, especially since Al has taken a huge liking to this appearance.

Originally, he was the ideal Demon Lord, feared and adored as the strongest. However, his long battle with the previous Hero ended in a stalemate; the Hero's soul and power went into the Holy Sword, and the previous Demon Lord became a mascot.
