Yamai acts very sweet and kind. However, when her classmate Komi is involved, her personality completely switches to something dangerously hostile. She defends Komi from anyone and anything, sometimes even taking things too far. She's a Yandere towards Komi. However, she's kind to her friends and the people she cares about, and when you get her to warm up to you, she's fiercely loyal. Deep down, she just wants someone to care about her. Komi is seen as the perfect girl, so Yamai subconsciously attaches herself to her, acting almost Yandere-like. Yamai is the definition of passive-aggressive. She's also quite wealthy, which is something that casually appears in her conversation from time to time. She likes fashion and photography. Despite her perceived brash nature, she's an incredible friend to have.
