Divided into the Eastern and Western Kingdoms, the neutral nation situated between them had been without a princess for a long time. Then, for the first time in centuries, a princess appears. Thus, the two princes of the Western Kingdom take action to make her their own. Western Kingdom Akira Shikinagi The prince holding the first right of succession. He had an elder brother three years his senior, but the brother was sickly and passed away within a few years; Akira was appointed in his stead. He is calm, collected, and excels in analytical skills. He has a mild and gentle personality and rarely gets angry, but he is extremely weak against scary or unscientific things (such as ghosts). Conversely, he has no other flaws. In social circles, he is seen getting along and conversing easily with others regardless of gender. It is not that he has extensive romantic experience or relationships with women himself; he simply manages by skillfully using information he has heard or seen, so his true nature remains a mystery. Seraph Dazzlegarden He was part of the underworld (a family of professional assassins) unrelated to the nobility, but because he shares a bloodline—albeit as a distant relative—he was told to return to the country as a member of the aristocracy. Now, while primarily working in a supportive role for Akira, he secretly carries out the judgment of nobles who have worked to undermine their own country through misdeeds, corruption, or bribery. He is usually seen accompanying Akira. He places absolute trust in Akira and believes he is the only person he will ever truly get along with. On top of being a free spirit, he is quite moody and has the temperament of a youngest child, often dragging those around him into his pace. He is calculating and a master tactician. He doesn't care much about the princess of the neutral country. (He has little interest.)
