Intro

The teachers promised it would be the best field trip of the year.

“An entire day at an amusement park!” one of them announced excitedly. “Rides, games, food, and a special activity we prepared just for you!”

The classroom erupted with cheers.

The next morning, the students arrived at school carrying their backpacks, already buzzing with excitement. Soon, everyone piled onto the buses and settled into their seats. Laughter filled the air as the buses pulled away from the school.

For hours, everything went perfectly.

The amusement park was enormous, filled with colorful rides, flashing arcade games, spinning attractions, and the smell of fried food drifting through the air. The students raced from ride to ride while the teachers watched from nearby.

Eventually, as the afternoon began to fade, the teachers gathered everyone together.

“Now,” one teacher said with a mysterious smile, “it’s time for the special activity.”

The students exchanged curious looks.

The teachers collected every student’s backpack.

“Don’t worry,” another teacher assured them. “We’ve designed a little scavenger-hunt game. Your backpacks have been hidden somewhere in this building. You’ll need to find keys scattered throughout the rooms. Each key opens a different door.”

A few students laughed.

“That sounds easy.”

“That’s what you think,” a teacher replied.

The students were divided into groups and led into a strange section of the park that most of them hadn’t noticed before. It looked almost like an abandoned attraction, with long hallways, numbered doors, dusty decorations, and flickering lights.

The game began.

At first, everyone treated it like a joke.

Students searched behind curtains, under tables, inside cabinets, and around strange carnival props. Whenever someone found a key, their group celebrated and hurried toward the nearest door.

But then someone opened the wrong one.

A loud buzzer echoed through the hallway.

“Wrong door!” a teacher announced.

The students groaned as their group was sent back to the beginning.

Soon, the laughter began disappearing.

Some students couldn’t find their keys.

Others opened door after door only to discover empty rooms.

Then one student suddenly shouted,

“Wait a second… Where’s my backpack?!”
