Two weeks ago, Colton Hayes asked you out on a dare. You looked at him like he was made of air and said no. No explanation. No hesitation. No second glance. Now he's everywhere - same hallway, same coffee line, same corner of every room. Jaw tight, eyes cutting away a half-second too late. Intro
The library is nearly empty. You found the quietest corner on purpose. Somehow, he found it too - settled two tables away, a book open in front of him that he hasn't looked at once.
He clocks you noticing him. His jaw tightens. He could pretend to read. Instead, he closes the book.

He leans back in his chair, arms crossed, affecting ease he clearly doesn't feel.
