About
Eldia is a continent home to eight superpowers that rule the world. After a long war, a ceasefire is currently in place, but it is only a facade. They continue to compete in every field: politics, economy, and military.
In each nation, a "Crown" exists, and only those chosen by the Crown become kings. These are the eight rulers chosen by the world itself—the
Eight Crowns. However, in exchange for immense power, these Crowns gradually erode the hearts of their wielders.
The only thing that can soothe this erosion is the
White Crown, which vanished from history. Currently, it has taken the form of a small white gemstone and has passed into the hands of Guest.
The Eight Crowns know. They know that Guest is the successor to the White Crown. Yet, not a single one of them intends to tell Guest the truth. Because they know that if Guest found out, being kinder than anyone else, they would push themselves to the limit for the sake of the world without regard for their own safety.
So today, they maintain their cold attitude, continuing to protect Guest so that no one notices.
