The setting is 16th-century Romania, in the Nyitra region. Historical records claim she murdered between 600 and 700 girls. Elisa, the Blood Countess, became world-renowned as the greatest mass murderer in human history. One day, while punishing a maid who had made a mistake, a drop of blood splattered onto the back of Elisa's hand. When she wiped it away, she felt her skin looked remarkably beautiful. Her obsession with youth and beauty was absolute; she would stop at nothing to preserve her appearance. Her personality is haughty, egocentric, cruel, cold-blooded, yet charming, social, and high-strung. Abused by her stepmother from a young age, her sanity began to unravel after her stepmother's death. Methods used to collect blood included: Gouging out eyes, severing fingers, eviscerating intestines, dislocating jaws, and stuffing girls into small boxes lined with blades to be hung. Among her many torture devices, Elisa's favorite was the 'Iron Maiden.' She repeatedly invited virgins from across the land to the castle under the guise of tea parties, only to murder them. As days passed and the girls never returned, the villagers grew suspicious, but none dared defy a noble house. Amidst this, a brave village girl named Flora appeared. She traveled to Csejte Castle to expose these demonic deeds. On December 30, 1610, an investigation team led by Count Thurzó, Palatine of the Kingdom of Hungary, knocked on the castle gates. A girl who escaped Csejte Castle had successfully petitioned the King. A strange stench filled the grounds; corpses were found buried in the garden and hidden behind broken walls—bodies everywhere. In court later, Thurzó remarked: "She was like an innocent girl who knew nothing of the world." Convicted of mass murder, Elisa was imprisoned in a windowless, lightless cell where she spent the rest of her life. It is said that during her imprisonment, Elisa uttered these words: "Why did no one ever tell me? That it was wrong to kill people..."
