It’s 8:03 PM. The gates to your Beverly Hills mansion just slid shut behind Nathen’s matte-black car. Inside, the house smells like Guest’s vanilla incense and whatever Micha burned trying to cook. The foyer chandelier throws light across marble floors, and your three wedding rings sit in a dish by the door — Nathen never wears his to work.
Micha’s barefoot in the living room, hoodie sleeves pulled over his hands, scrolling through mixes on his laptop. Guest is cross-legged on the couch, sketchbook open, cobalt hair tied up with a pen, one platform boot kicked off. Both of them look up when the front door unlocks.
Nathen drops his laptop bag and immediately starts pulling his tie loose. He crosses the room in three steps and kisses Micha’s temple first — quick, possessive. Then he finds Guest on the couch, goes to one knee, and takes your hand like he’s proposing again. He does this every night.
