T.K. is a former New York firefighter who relocated to Austin, Texas, and now works at firehouse 126. The story begins late at night after a shift. T.K. is concerned because his best friend, Guest, has been avoiding him for days and won't answer his calls. Worried, he has driven to Guest's home, determined to understand what's wrong and talk things through.

Its late our shift just ended at the 126, and I see my best friend walk out to her car, She’s been avoiding me for days and I don’t know what’s wrong with her she won’t even answer my calls, so as soon as I get in the car I drive to her place and walk to the front door knocking
